Can Ferrereta

We spent 4 nights at Can Ferrereta and it exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived until we departed. The hotel and rooms are beautifully designed with so many small details that make it stand out, but the staff are truly what makes this hotel world class. Every single person we interacted with was warm, friendly and excellent at their job. A special mention for the spa services. The treatments were wonderful and the facial better than you will find in NY or Paris, it was that good. Dinner at Ochre was also the best meal we had in Spain, and there were many good meals, on a 10 day trip.

Just returned home from the most incredible stay at this stunning hotel. However, it’s not the amazing pool, beautiful rooms, or divine food that makes this hotel a level above others that we have stayed in, but it’s the exceptional staff. All the staff go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We were on holiday for our babymoon, and being 33 weeks pregnant meant that I couldn’t enjoy some of the finer things in life. Without hesitation, the staff asked me if I wanted to swap our complementary cava to non alcoholic nosecco, they checked carefully to make sure I didn’t have any dietary restrictions, and even on the night we had a tasting menu at the Ocre restaurant, they changed my wine pairing to non alcoholic cocktails! This was done, without me even raising it! Also, the spa treatments we had were second to none (thanks to margarita for really helping me with my muscle pain!) I don’t normally write long reviews like this but they thoroughly deserve every top score they receive. We cannot wait to return, although now that we will become parents and this hotel is adults only, we will either have to wait 10 years to return, or find someone to look after our child for a week or two (joke).

Everything was just perfect! I cannot recommend it more! The love and effort the employees are giving to make your stay as wonderful as possible is truly amazing! We enjoyed a 2 night stay in the Junior Suite and it was perfect! Cannot thank you all enough!

We stayed at the beautiful Hotel Can Ferrereta in Santanyi and couldn't be more in awe and simply in love with this place. The quality of everything here is top level, from the building's decor, the furniture, the designs - modern and traditional - the concept and design of the pool area, the Spa area to the restaurant. It has a warm energy, but sophisticated and classy. You can choose between a diverstity of rooms, we stayed at the Can Ferrereta Suite, which is simply s t u n n i n g. Art and a selection of the owners collection is part of the hotel's interior --- and the rooms as well. This was a very special feeling to meditate in front of a masterpiece. The team, the service and the philosophy of the Hotel Can Ferrerata will make you feel cozy, welcomed, well cared of and as part of Mallorca and yes, a little bit like a loved member of their family. Every little request was met with a smile and all efforts to satisfy our wishes and needs. E-Bike Tour around the area and to the beach? No problem, the cycling experts of Med.Feel work with the hotel and took us on a wonderful bike tour! Looking for gifts for the family back at home? The team recommended the weekly market and is working with amazing Mallorcian venders and artists and small business like Dos Alchimistas (who made an exlusive tea infusion blend for the hotel). A massage and facial? Yes, please follow us to the Spa for one of the best massage I ve ever had (and I have a frozen shoulder!) This is Spain and Mallorca as warm and full of heart as you dreamed of - and the team adds professionality to it on the highest level! Thank you again for this beautiful days!! Quick gym check: Technogym treadmill, eclipe, bike / boxing bag / weights / Nohrd wall compact (with display and programms), fitness bands, balls, mats and a marshalll speaker to bring your music to the floor! I loved it! The restaurant "The Ocre" is still on my mind (well, dreaming of that breakfast Avocado toast and dinner and dessert and and and LOL) A well curated menu, a team of two young chefs and a vision of bringing traditional mallorcian dishes with a twist to another level. The tapas are devine, all fish meals are just "chefskiss", the meat dishes are perfection and the wine card all you need to know about Spanish vinos! We will come back as soon as possible. Enchanted by this place.

This is just the most beautiful hotel and a heaven for anyone who loves design.My expectations were high based on all the previous reviews but it didn’t fail to impress. The attention to detail on everything from art to light switches is just outstanding. The hotels rooms are sprinkled all over the property so it never has that long corridor generic hotel feel. We were in room 5 with our own gate with doorbell and little private front garden close to the pool. Staff are highly professional , calm and no request is too much. On arrival we were early and as we muttered about heading to the beach they whipped out gorgeous fluffy beach towels and bottles of water from reception along with a map of the local beaches. I highly recommend booking valet parking before arrival as the hotel is on a tiny narrow street where you can’t park and finding parking locally would be a chore I suspect.It was largely couples when we were there. The atmosphere is quiet and calm …very quiet around the pool….possibly not an obvious choice for a group of friends but for us it was perfect. The local town is lovely , good choice of restaurants and lots of interiors shops. Local coves gorgeous for swimming ( although fairly crowded even in early June) . Overall amazing stay. Don’t hesitate to book.

This review is based on comparable 5 star properties that we have stayed in, booking a Junior Suite. Can Ferrereta ticked the boxes in terms of a great pool area, serious laps can be done here ( 25m) in beautifully clean water and quiet very comfortable sunbed spots together with a tasty poolside menu. Although not heated, after the initial chill, the pool was very comfortable temp for swimming. The staff work hard around the pool area to ensure guests are looked after. Breakfast including the service was good and we liked the buffet offerings- different yoghurts, fresh and dried fruits, bircher muesli , fresh juices ( of course the lovely orange juice) pastries, breads, honey, jams, sobrasada, nuts and cereals. Excellent idea to have further choices a la carte, so whether that’s eggs any way you choose, very moorish sobrasada with honey on toast, smoked salmon etc. breakfast is served to a very civilised 11am, perfect! If you wish to have dinner, suggest booking few days ahead, we tried to book on the day and a 10pm slot too late for us. The 3 star rating- Our room:- it was sold as a Junior Suite but although it was fine, if you have stayed in other 5 star properties in a JS you are going to feel short-changed. 2 small chairs and a small table with no defined ( wasn’t expecting a solid separation) seating area or sofa is not a junior suite and our junior suite/ number 26 is certainly not used for their website pictures, it’s comparable to a deluxe room for a 5 star property and SLH hotel. The early check in and late check out banner noted on their website should include the words -‘ subject to availability’ as neither were adequate. Breakfast- tasty Eggs Benedict but although a la carte, not served hot, I didn’t highlight at the time and I am confident if I had it would have been changed immediately but shouldn’t occur in the first place. To clarify, overall, Can Ferrereta is a lovely place to stay, the staff are very pleasant and professional, I guess we were just expecting at this price point and SLH hotel, to be ‘wowed’.

We stayed at Can Ferrereta for seven nights in early May loved every minute. Wonderful Hotel, great staff, they really could not do enough for us. Very good food, great room. Pool area and pool bar were a delight. The town was very interesting and buzzing on market days , can't wait to go back

My husband and I visited for 3 nights at the beginning of June. We received a lovely warm welcome from the staff. The hotel is absolutely astounding, the walk around on arrival is a lovely touch, especially as from the road you would not believe what awaited us! We ate dinner in the hotel on our first night, the courtyard is so beautiful in the dark. The food was stunning at breakfast, lunch and dinner and accommodated my dietary requirements with ease. All the staff make this hotel a ‘house’, the service is second to none and we were greeted at every corner with a smile. We would like to say a special thank you to Victor on Reception who recommended, booked and organised meals and taxis. We would love to visit again, total relaxation in the most beautiful setting imaginable.
